How we use AI
Our newsroom uses AI to help summarise source material, organise notes and draft copy. Every story is reviewed by our staff before publication. AI is never used to invent quotes, statistics, people or sources.
Verification
We attribute claims to their sources. Where events are still developing, or where claims are alleged and not independently confirmed, we say so clearly using cautious language such as "according to" or "reportedly".
Bylines
All stories are published under the collective byline "Red Pepper News Staff". The newsroom is accountable for every article as a whole.
